Sep201422

We just finished the foley recordings and foley premix for the feature film ‘Gooische Vrouwen 2’. The first movie was one of the most succesful Dutch movies ever made. We sure did have some fun doing the foley for the second part and hopefully the audience will feel the same watching it. Gooische Vrouwen 2 will have it’s premiere on the 4th of December 2014.

New foley studio
Jun201417

In the first months of 2014 we have been working on building a recording room specially dedicated to recording foley. The new foley studio is the most complete foley studio in the Netherlands with different surfaces, dirtpits and an enormous amount of props. We already finished the recordings for the Greek movie ‘A Blast’ and the Dutch movie ‘Gooische Vrouwen 2’ and the new foley sounds great! Check out our foley page for more info.

A dog that sounds like a car…

In the new Volkswagen commercial a dog thinks he’s a car. A great challenge for a sound designer: how do you make a dog sound like a car? I worked on the sound design for this commercial and designed the last sound: the car alarm! You can check it out: here

Great reviews for My Amityville Horror in The Hollywood Reporter, The Playlist and Screen Daily. The latter wrote: “My Amityville Horror is a seriously fascinating film, impressively structured and absolutely absorbing.”

Dec201218

I just finished the 5.1. surround mix for the documentary My Amityville Horror, by Los Angeles based director Eric Walter. The documentary was a great success at the BFI London Film Festival which made it financially possible to redo the mix in 5.1. surround at the mixing stage at Cinemeta.
