Another nomination for The Lobster! This time the movie is nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. We keep our fingers crossed!
Quality Time is nominated for a Tiger Award! It’s the only Dutch movie being part of the prestigious Hivos Tiger Competition at the Rotterdam Film Festival 2017 (IFFR). Quality Time is the satirical debut of director Daan Bakker in which he portrays a series of plodding young men and their relationships to their worried parents.
Frank Lammers debut film ‘Of ik gek ben’ is nominated for a Gouden Kalf (Golden Calf) for Best Sound Design by the jury of the Dutch Film Festival. Proud to have been part of the sound team for this movie and congratulations to sound designer Marco Vermaas and the rest of the sound team!
Due to the growing amount of films we worked on recently and our aim to strive for the best sound quality we moved to a better and bigger studio in Haarlem (20 kilometers from Amsterdam). The new studio is 135 m2 and build in a way that we can even better change the acoustics and record different reverbs and we have space for more and bigger props. In the new studio we have 5 wooden floors, a car, a kitchen to record in and a water basin of 900 liters in the studio. The sound is amazing and we invite you to stop by and listen for yourself!
We are proud to announce that The Lobster won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Congratulations to all the crew and cast who worked on this movie and especially director Yorgos Lanthimos!
Great news! The Lobster is selected for the official competition to win the Golden Palm on the film festival of Cannes! Last year we did the foley for this great movie. The Lobster is the new movie of Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos, who previously made Dogtooth (Kynodontas) and Alps and Lanthimos English-language debut starring Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz and Léa Seydoux.
